I’m a Partner to Mr G, a mother to four lovely daughters and grandmother to two darling boys and one beautiful little girl. l love good films,travel, books and food, am a reluctant dieter, a failed dog discipliner. I have lived in the beautiful windy city of Wellington New Zealand for 34 years and constantly dream of living in France. I’ve followed no discernable career path but have been a Librarian, Project Manager and Human Resource Analyst. In the last few years I acquired the title of ‘Trailing spouse’ when I gave up work in NZ and followed Mr G to Vietnam where we lived for two years. Our life is now constantly on the move who knows where to next. I am British by birth and a Kiwi by choice. I have created this blog as a follow up to http://highlandfling-a-life-in-dalat.blogspot.co.nz/ which followed our two years living and working in Vietnam. I enjoyed blogging so much that I am going to continue, starting with our up coming trip to England and France and from there well who knows, maybe some of my scribblings may be of use to someone.
